The 5th Annual Derby Day Party will be held on Saturday, May 4th at Safari Texas, located at 11627 FM 1464 Road in Richmond from 3:30 to 7:30 pm. Look for an evening of fun and the Kentucky Derby!
There will be a Best in Show Ladies’ Hat Contest, The Men’s Boots & Bowties Contest, Roll for the Roses Horse Race, along with a large screen live feed of the 145th Kentucky Derby Race Simulcast. Each attendee will have a horse to root for, and winners receive a prize.
The Derby Day Party benefits Reining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship of Fort Bend County and the Greater West Houston area. Programs are therapy for individuals with physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs through therapeutic horsemanship, providing safe, effective services that meet and exceed Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International Standards.
Individual tickets are $125 a person. Sponsorships are available for the Derby Day Party, including Mint Julep, $5,000; Boots & Bowties, $2,500; and Win Place Show $1,250.
