Corelli’s Hits It Out of the Park! Sponsors 55 Fort Bend Foster Children to a Space Cowboys Game

Corelli’s Italian Cafe and General Manager Adam Sanchez have changed the game for 55 local foster children by providing tickets to a Space Cowboys game.  While  the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services provides many things for foster children, special events such as this are real game changers for young people whose summers are made more exciting when local businesses and individuals call and say, “We would love to make summer more exciting for these young people!”

Fort Bend County Child Welfare Board Chair David M. Lanagan delivered the Space Cowboys tickets to Roberta Carranza and Nabilia Hernandez at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services office.

Fort Bend County Child Welfare Board Chair David M. Lanagan said, “The fact is, local businesses can have great impact by helping make the lives of children under foster care much more like every other kid in the county. They have the same needs, the same sense of fun and the same sense of wonder, and when businesses like this join in to say that they can help, it makes a world of difference!”

When county residents support county businesses everyone wins.  Have a terrific meal and express your thanks by going to Corelli’s Italian Cafe, located at 3229 Hwy 6, Sugar Land, TX 77478.  And a tremendous thanks to Corelli’s from all of the children!
