Homeless Pet Placement League Announces Third Annual Gala, The Ultimate “Tailgate” Party, January 25th, 2025

Foster mom Kimberly Williams with 14-year-old foster dog Maxwell. Maxwell was found in a ditch and saved by concerned neighbors. He was microchipped, and HPPL found his owner only to learn that sadly, she had passed away. Maxwell is no longer homeless and is living in a wonderful foster home thanks to HPPL!

Rescue dog Maxwell and his foster mom Kimberly Williams are ready to join Homeless Pet Placement League (HPPL) Vice President Eileen Akerson at HPPL’s third annual gala.  The Ultimate “Tailgate” Party will be held on January 25th, 2025, at the Sugar Creek Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas.

“This will be a casual, tail-gate attire event to celebrate the tireless efforts of our compassionate fosters, volunteers and community partners,” said Akerson. “Their lifesaving work would not be possible without the generosity of our kind donors and supporters.”

Funds raised at the gala will be used to support and expand HPPL’s programs and services in the community.  Please consider lending a paw by attending this this “fan-favorite” event in your team colors and learning more about the important mission of HPPL.  “Now, more than ever, we need your assistance as we strive to rescue, rehabilitate, foste, and place homeless animals in forever homes.  As you know, there is no greater love than that of a rescued animal,“ HPPL Vice President Akerson said.
