Help officially kick off Rosenberg’s holiday season with the annual Gazebo Lighting at City Hall, located at 2110 Fourth Street. Go back in time and visit Christmas Eves from the 1830s to the 1930s at George Ranch Historical Park, located at 10215 FM 762 in Richmond. Start with an old-fashioned barn dance and a rustic 1930s holiday meal followed by an 1891 Victorian Christmas with all the trimmings. Then, stop at an 1875 cattle drive for the Centennial Exposition. The night will end at Christmas Eve 1844 as the Republic of Texas prepares for Statehood. Reservations are required.
