August 5th – 9th, 9 am – 3 pm 
Earth-Kind® Kids’ Kamp

The Fort Bend County Master Gardeners host the week-long event for youth entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grades based on the Junior Master Gardener Wildlife Gardener curriculum covering such topics as birds, insects, amphibians and reptiles. Kids’ Kamp will be held at the Fort Bend County Extension office at 1402 Band Road in Rosenberg. Line Dancing 

This course, geared for participants ages 50 and older, is intended to introduce you to the fun, social and healthy activity with line dances to all types of music. Red, White and Blue Jean Bash

West Fort Bend Women’s Charity presents an evening of live music, dancing and a barbeque dinner at Swinging Door Restaurant Dance Hall, located at 3818 FM 359 in Richmond. Proceeds from the event benefit Helping A Hero and other charities supporting veterans. For tickets, visit www.wfbwc.org.

Holy Rosary Annual Bazaar

Holy Rosary Catholic Church’s 77th annual bazaar, located at 1416 George St. in Rosenberg, will feature live music, raffles, family-friendly booths and games, live and silent auctions and a barbeque dinner with all of the trimmings. August 31st, 12:30 – 2 pm
Labor Day Backyard BBQ

Celebrate Labor Day weekend with an old-fashioned 1930s Barbeque at the George Ranch House. Chow down on old-fashioned grub, listen to period music while playing games of the 30s and make the ice cream for your cobbler the old-fashioned way as you celebrate the American worker.
