Texas Master Naturalists Program
The Texas Master Naturalist Coastal Prairie Chapter will host John Ferguson as the speaker for their April monthly program entitled “Natural Gardening with Emphasis on the Soil Food Web” at the Bud O’Shieles Community Center, located at 1330 Band Road in Rosenberg. Third Annual OakBend Medical Run to Attack Poverty 5K
Gather the entire family for a chip-timed certified 5K Run/Walk and kids’ 1K at Wessendorff Park, located at 500 Preston in Richmond. Post-race festivities include a health and fitness fair, food, music and activities for the kids. All proceeds benefit Attack Poverty. Visit www.attackpoverty.org.

Second Mile’s 10th Annual Banquet and Silent Auction
See how families are renewing hope through the compassionate work of Second Mile supporters at Safari Texas Ranch, located at 11627 FM 1464 in Richmond. This fundraising event helps provide food, clothing, health care, financial education and more to people in need. Old-Fashioned Easter and Historic Lunch
Travel back in time for an old-fashioned Easter at the George Ranch Historical Park, located at 10215 FM 762 in Richmond. Participate in a traditional egg roll, decorate eggs and join the 1890s Victorian Egg Hunt. An Easter lunch with a 1930s twist will be held in the George Yard from 12:30 – 2 pm. Cost for lunch is $13.50 for ages 13 and up, $10 for ages five to 12 and $4 for ages four and under. Meal reservations are required.

Fulshear Art Walk
This year’s theme of Arts, Wine and Chocolate promises to provide interactive experiences for all ages, including art demonstrations, hands-on activities and performances, graffiti art car painting and screen printing, as well as food trucks and special wine and food offerings at local restaurants.
