OakBend Medical Center’s Patchwork of Life Benefits Jackson Street’s Fourth and Fifth Floors

OakBend Medical Center has announced this year’s Patchwork of Life event.  The event is dedicated to “Making Room to Heal” and will benefit OakBend Medical Center’s Jackson Street 4th and 5th patient floors.

The honorees for this year are the nurses who work at OakBend Medical Center.  Without their dedication to all of the patients at OakBend, the hospital would not be able to provide superior care and services to the community. This honor is a way of saying thank you for their dedication and commitment.

All monies raised from this year’s event will be dedicated to the renovations of the patients’ rooms on the 4th and 5th floors of the main campus at Jackson Street. These floors are being renovated to mirror the Jack and Billie Wendt Acute Care of the Elderly Unit (ACE Unit) with colors that are comfortable, lighting that is non-glare and floors with a woodgrain appearance.

The Patchwork of Life event is scheduled for Thursday, October 12th from 6:30 to 9 pm at Safari Texas. For information or to purchase tickets or sponsorships, visit www.oakbendmedcenter.org/patchwork-of-life-2017/ or call 281-341-3094.
