When asked what value Kassidi lives by, she replied, “To love others and to love Jesus. The most important things in this life are your relationship with God and your relationships with people. If I don’t spend my time loving others the best I can and showing them the love of Christ, I’m not doing my job very well.”

“It’s rewarding to help others become better at the sport you love. I want my teammates to know they can have someone trustworthy and reliable to talk to, to help them and to guide them.” – Kassidi Kaminski
Kassidi is a talented athlete. For all four years of her high school career, she has been a member of the Varsity Cross Country team, Varsity Basketball team and Varsity Track team. When asked what is the one thing she will treasure the most about her high school experience, she said, “The camaraderie of my three sports’ teams. I’ve made lifelong friends through sports, and I’ve been blessed with some pretty amazing coaches over the years. Ninety percent of the best memories I have from high school all involve being with my teammates.”

Her Cross Country team placed second in the All-District meet. Kassidi enjoys facilitating her teammates to succeed. “It’s rewarding to help others become better at the sport you love. I want my teammates to know they can have someone trustworthy and reliable to talk to, to help them and to guide them.”

Kassidi is a recognized leader at Fort Bend Christian Academy. This year, she is President of the National Honor Society, Spanish Club Senior Class Representative, Student Council Class Representative, Varsity Track Co-Captain and Varsity Basketball Chaplain. Last year, she was the Vice President of the National Honor Society and Varsity Cross Country Co-Captain, and she was Junior Varsity Basketball Captain as a sophomore. She is the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Representative and a graduate of the Student Leadership University.

Outside of her busy school schedule, Kassidi generously gives her time to help the less fortunate. Kassidi participated in mission trips to Cherokee North Carolina, Carolina Creek Christian Camp and New York to assist people in need, painting homes, babysitting, teaching and tutoring. She also volunteers at the Fort Bend Literacy Council and graduated as salutatorian of her class.

This fall, Kassidi will attend the Liberal Arts Honors College at the University of Texas at Austin to study Psychology in an effort to continue her commitment to public service. Congratulations on your enormous success Kassidi, and good luck as you continue down the path of distinction.
