A Time to Celebrate –

April showers bring May flowers, and boy is that true this year! The wildflowers have been bright and vibrant and the pastures amazingly green. Another school year is almost over, and the fun days of summer are almost here. This time of year is filled with many celebrations from Mother’s and Father’s Day, graduations and weddings. These special occasions remind us to reflect on our loved ones and their accomplishments.

In this issue, we are featuring our ever popular section Blushing Brides that is brimming with stunning brides, their weddings and the latest trends for planning a wedding. Our Historic Downtown Richmond and Rosenberg pages are filled with wonderful places to shop for those mom, dad and grad gifts. We also bring to you a gentleman who has a spring in his step after receiving outstanding care at Houston Methodist Neuroscience & Spine Center at Sugar Land. Greg Herring’s back pain made springing forward difficult, but the team at Methodist Neuroscience Center got him back hopping.

If you are looking for some fun things to do in our Brazos community, check out our Calendar of Events on page 22. The Fort Bend Museum is hosting some great summer events for all ages. For more information, visit www.fortbendmuseum.org.

May and June is truly a time to celebrate and remember our loved ones. I would like to wish all the moms a Happy Mother’s Day, dads a Happy Father’s Day and all the Brazos grads, congratulations on your accomplishments!

Absolutely yours,

Kay Garrett
