Learn about recommended vegetable varieties and Fort Bend’s planting schedule from Three Sisters Farm at the George Memorial Library, located at 1001 Golfview Drive in Richmond. Learn about raised bed construction, crop rotation, organic fertilization and pest control. Call 281-342-4455.

The Red, White and Blue Jean Bash
Hosted by West Fort Bend Women’s Charity,  The Red, White and Blue Jean Bash features 
an evening of live music, dancing and a barbeque dinner at the Swinging Door Restaurant Dance Hall, located at 3818 FM 359 in Richmond. Proceeds from the event benefit charities supporting veterans. For tickets, visit www.wfbwc.org.

Summer History Week
Children ages eight through 12 will travel through time with the Fort Bend County  Museum, located at 500 Houston Street in Richmond. Each day features a morning  program from 9 am to noon and an afternoon program from 1 to 4 pm.
